Staging Requirements
When performing I need sufficient space for myself and a couple of chairs. The audience should be in front of me or on the sides. I can’t perform with the audience behind me (I do magic, not miracles!)
I can’t perform when standing at the top table (as a conventional after-dinner speaker would do). I need my own space.
It’s vital that I can be seen and heard by everybody. This means a good sound system, good lighting on the performing area and possibly some sort of staging. For details of these, please ask for my Schedule of Requirements.
I can provide my own sound system, lighting and staging if required.
Schedule of Requirements
These are a formalised Schedule of Requirements which I send to all bookers. Please note that these are ‘best possible’. I am flexible and can normally work around any potential problems.

Being Introduced
I like a short introduction! ‘Would you please welcome your entertainer for this evening, magician and mind reader Ian Keable...’ is quite sufficient.
Time to Go On
The best time for me to perform is as soon after the meal as possible. But again I am very flexible.
Advance Information about Audience
Because I am reading minds, it’s best I don’t receive any advance information. Otherwise the audience will suspect I have been given assistance.
